F.E.A.S.T.'s primary goal is to educate and support parents, but we also hope to empower clinicians who seek evidence-based information to support families.  We ask that clinicians treating our loved ones:

  • Pursue evidence-based information, training, and ongoing education in this rapidly changing field
  • Operate in a multidisciplinary team approach
  • Treat patients as part of their family unit and environment
  • Assume parents will be active, positive treatment team members with appropriate education, coaching and support
  • Let parents be experts about their own loved one, if not the illness or treatment
  • Be a leader in your field in promoting these principles
