Some people with AN don't have these hunger cues till later, on the other hand, some people do have the hunger and they become quite afraid of the hunger as they are afraid they may binge-so here's where the structured eating is very important - and your d can be reassured by that. Also making sure there is protein/fat/carbs at every meal and snack helps keep the hunger from building up too much before the next feed.
