Secondly, I remember the 5 week stage with complete horror. I hadn't really managed to separate D from her ED and found myself getting upset constantly at the change in her behaviour and refusal to eat. I was convinced that we would never see any light at the end of the tunnel and was in a huge state of anxiety. I'm sure it's the same for most people, but not everyone is getting their D to eat everything you put in front of her. You are doing REALLY well and need to give yourself a huge hug and a pat on the back. Hang in there - it does get better. One year on, our D is a happy, healthy young woman. A year ago, I thought her life was ruined. Big hugs to you xxx
