Yesterday D had group T.  She told me she told the group that she feels like she is on a new ship heading in a new direction in her life.  Those who want to come aboard and ride with her are welcome. The rest can jump ship.  We then went and got the biggest hamburger.  She was in love with it!  Amazing because a month ago she wouldn't even consider having one.  She just tells me, " mom, I'm trusting you to watch my weight.  Don't let me get fat."  It's like she has just let it go from herself and happy to give me that job.  One in which I am happy to do for her!  I do see her still looking at her stomach in the mirror.  But I can tell she is getting stronger.  I haven't heard to many ed thoughts this week, so bravo!  My mom commented how happy she was to see her really eat well the other day.  I can only hope that it is her brain healing and getting stronger each day with each meal.
