I would like to share our story of hope with you. Two years ago when an eating disorder entered our teenager and our familys’ lives with a vengeance, we were shocked, bewildered and disbelieving. How could our joyful, intelligent, sensible, kind and thoughtful daughter and sister have become so withdrawn, miserable, and seemingly out of her mind when it came to eating? After an intense and traumatic battle, which has included 3 hospitalisations totalling 6 months, inability to attend school, let alone participate in “normal” life, our gorgeous girl is back -  weight restored, attending her last year of secondary school full time and living the busy, exciting life that all 17 / 18 year olds deserve!
