Letter from David

Hello,

I met a few of you at the 2009 conference. I just wanted to say thank you for what you do. I was diagnosed EDNOS in May of 09, as a XX year old male it's a little difficult believing that I have and ED and that ED's are dangerous. After being around everyone up there I'm starting to get some of it. Hearing some of the stories broke my heart and thinking of what I've put my own parents through for the last 10 years was an eye opener.

It also gave me hope that I can beat this. Hope that I don't have to be alone (ED loves isolation) and that I can talk to my parents. We have been a very close family but this was something that tore me away from them for a very long time. And I was very unwilling to get any kind of help for a long time.

I just wanted to say thank you all for the support and help while I was there. I was triggered, a lot, while there and was always able to find someone to help.

 David
