Feasting On Research Blog

Parents are rarely experts in the field of eating disorder research, yet the popular media is filled with mistaken and often damaging ideas about the science of the disorder. The Feasting on Research blog was commissioned by F.E.A.S.T. with the goal of translating the current science of eating disorder research in language and context especially for parents and caregivers.

Our staff writer is Carrie Arnold, a science writer who is the author of two books on eating disorders and freelance pieces for such magazines as the Johns Hopkins Public Health Magazine, ScienceNOW, Eating Disorders Today, and the Etsy Storque. She is currently employed at Chemical and Engineering News.

Arnold has earned a Master's of Public Health in epidemiology from the University of Michigan, and a M.A. in science writing from Johns Hopkins University.
