1. F.E.A.S.T. is a virtual, International organization with members from over 40 countries.
F.E.AS.T. has no office space and no paid staff. While F.E.A.S.T. is registered as a 501(c)3 in the US for tax purposes, we represent a worldwide community of parents, advocates, patients, and professionals in the ED community.
2. F.E.A.S.T. has an International Board of Directors who "meet" to conduct business by conference call every two months.
Our Board includes individuals from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, representing numerous time zones, five countries, and four continents.
3. F.E.A.S.T. has four Local Advocacy Task Forces in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia/New Zealand.
Our US group holds monthly support and strategy meetings, our UK group organized a carer's conference in Nottingham in 2012, our Canadian group has developed educational materials for educators, and our Australian/New Zealand Group has collaborated with other local organizations to host a carer's conference in Brisbane in 2013, with another planned for Melbourne in 2015.
