University of Chicago FBT "Telemedicine" StudyPrincipal investigators Kristen Anderson, LCSW, and Daniel Le Grange, PhD from the University of Chicago Eating Disorders Program are conducting a study funded by NEDA for adolescents with anorexia nervosa.
This study aims to address families’ need for evidence-based treatment for anorexia nervosa in remote, rural, or underrepresented parts of the U.S. by assessing the feasibility of conducting family-based treatment via telemedicine (video conference).
Participating adolescents must be Illinois residents between the ages of 13 and 18 years old and living with at least one parent/guardian. All participants will receive twenty outpatient therapy sessions via telemedicine free of cost.
