Why doesn’t the "Remember Me" function always work?
The "Remember Me" option creates a cookie that can keep individuals logged into the F.E.A.S.T. site for up to two weeks. After this time has expired, members will have to re-enter their login credentials in order to enter the site. The cookie will remain for that time unless it is deleted/cleared before the end of the 14 day period.
There are some network configurations that could prevent someone from staying logged in or being "remembered." Some of these include:
Browser Cookie Settings:
Desktop Security Suites:
Browser Security Requirements:
Secure portions of the F.E.A.S.T. site utilize an SSL with TLS 1.2 encryption. While this is enabled by default for newer browsers older browser versions such as Internet Explorer 8 will need this option enabled.
Secure pages are ones that begin with: https://feast-ed.site-ym.com. These include your profile pages, and store or donation checkout pages.
Recommended Minimum Browser Versions:
For MS Windows Users: Google Chrome 41, Firefox 36 or Microsoft's Internet Explorer 11. Older versions may be used with reduced functionality
For Mac Users: We suggest using the latest version of Safari that is available with your Operating System, or Mozilla Firefox 4 or higher for optimal compatibility.
Recommended Operating Systems:
According to the F.E.A.S.T. website provider, the following operating systems have been tested for compatibility: Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 & Mac OS 10.3. Additional operating systems may function properly however they have not been tested.
