Outstanding must-read book! Extremely informative and well written. Nice summary of tips called "Pearls" at the end of each chapter. Can't rate this book highly enough!

This book is written for caregivers by an eating disordered doc. This book explains this difficult illness. Dr OToole dispels many myths regarding eating disorders - I gave one to my parents and close friends. I give one to every doctor I meet. A+++

"There are books one recommends to strangers, and those one presses on friends. I will be showing Give Food a Chance to my friends and enemies alike, and I look forward to the discussion it will initiate."
