About the Webinar:
Families dealing with eating disorders know that these illnesses can cause lots of conflicts. When your loved one is struggling to admit they have a problem, or agree to go to treatment, or follow recommendations from providers, it tends to make communication difficult or even contentious. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive, multifaceted treatment approach, and it includes specific skills for enhancing and improving communication. In this webinar, you will learn how to use the skills of Validation, Nonjudgmental, and Behaviorism in an interpersonal context.
