The Academy for Eating Disorders, the international eating disorders professional organization, has announced a policy change around the wording of the formerly “Patient-Carer Committee.”
Now called “Experts By Experience” and co-chaired by F.E.A.S.T.’s incoming Board Member, Judy Krasna, this group of volunteers from around the world do work to promote collaboration and inclusion of patients, families, and treatment professionals.
