Daryl Madill was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada and now resides just over the border in the Pacific Northwest corner of the U.S. She has lived and worked in Japan, has spent time living in Sweden, and has traveled to the U.K., Italy, and France. It’s safe to say that she loves travel and connecting with people around the globe!
She and husband Steve are parents to two young adults; their daughter developed anorexia nervosa at age 14. Living in a small community, they had difficulty gaining access to good evidence-based treatment and endured three years searching for adequate care for their daughter. F.E.A.S.T. played a significant role in providing peer support throughout the recovery process, for their daughter and family.
Daryl is pleased to be able to give back to the F.E.A.S.T. community through her role on the F.E.A.S.T. Board of Directors, and as a moderator on the Around the Dinner Table peer support online forum. She has been active in establishing in-person monthly meetings regionally, as well as providing phone and email support to families in her area.
