Daryl Madill is F.E.A.S.T.’s Board Chair for 2020. She was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada and now resides just over the border in the Pacific Northwest corner of the U.S. She has lived and worked in Japan and has spent time living in Sweden, as well as traveling to the U.K., Italy and France. Safe to say that she loves travel and connecting with those around the globe!
She and husband Steve are parents to two young adults; one of whom developed AN at age 14. Living in a small community, they experienced the difficulty of access to good evidence-based treatment and endured three years searching for adequate care. F.E.A.S.T. played a significant role in providing peer support throughout the recovery process for their child and family.
Daryl is pleased to be able to give back to the F.E.A.S.T. community through her roles on the F.E.A.S.T. Board of Directors, and as lead of the Parent Support Lines team. She began her volunteer advocacy efforts as a moderator on the Around the Dinner Table peer support forum nearly a decade ago, and enjoys ice dancing, reading, gardening and travel when she has the opportunity.
