Young People’s Use of Online Groups During Eating Disorder Recovery

Have you ever wondered how useful online groups are for eating disorder recovery?

This research project’s aim was to explore the connection between online group membership and well-being. They looked at individuals between the ages of 16 and 25 seeking help with an eating disorder(ED). The study examined the support provided by family, friends, and two types of online groups (recovery groups, and what are often referred to as ‘pro-ED’ groups).
